Carsten Dahl Mørch, Ph.D.

 

Associate Professor

 

 

 

 

Grew up on Fyn, Denmark where he had his primary and secondary education.

He received his M.Sc. in Biophysics title at the University of Copenhagen at the Niels Bohr Institute.

He was enrolled as a Ph.D. student at Aalborg University in the Department of Health Science and Technology. The Ph.D. project was carried out in the pain group at the Center for Sensory-Motor Interaction (SMI). I am now associate professor at SMI HST.

Research interests:

  • Biophysics of pain stimulation
  • Nociceptive specific stimulation
  • Sensory integration in the nociceptive system
  • Perceptual aspects of pain processing
Responsible for the Cutaneous Experimental Pain Research Laboratory
Part of the Integretive Neuroscience research interest group
